  • Do you feel chronically misunderstood by the most important people in your life?

  • Do you feel like your mood is controlling you?

  • Do you find yourself avoiding doing things you used to enjoy?

  • Do you feel stuck in your relationships; feeling misunderstood and stuck in never ending loops of conflict?

Here’s the thing—it takes courage to enter into a therapy experience.

I know how important it is to find high quality care; someone who will treat you as a whole person and not a list of symptoms.

Together, we can work to help you create the changes you want.

Hi, I’m Katherine

I have been a licensed clinical social worker for over 20 years. I have dedicated my career to the practice of evidence based therapies. I use robust evidence based techniques including Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Mindfulness to help you learn new skills and tools to navigate life’s most difficult moments. I have worked to hone my professional skills in evidence based treatments and in 2021 I received my certification from the Linehan Board of DBT. I have advanced training in the treatment of trauma, OCD, anxiety, and depression. I regularly seek consultation from experts. My hope is that you will feel like you have a team of experts on your shoulders helping you.

  • Katherine Schulz is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of clinical experience. She recently relocated with her family to North Carolina from the San Francisco Bay area and is excited to develop her practice in the Raleigh area.
